Key concepts covered: This Professional Wellbeing Workshop is designed to guide schools through some of the contemporary research and practices related to wellbeing, necessary to maintain and enhance their mental fitness. Utilizing the P.E.R.M.A.H model of wellbeing created by Martin Seligman, a forerunner of positive psychology, this workshop is both fun and practical, offering opportunities to reflect and implement explicit techniques. The presentation combines relevant research and practice through stories, experiences, real-life examples, and practical takeaways curated by Unleashing Personal Potential.

Program Options (Choose from 60-minute sessions, up to a full day with your staff):

Option #1 -  (MOST POPULAR) Personal Wellbeing Practices for each of the PERMAH elements (with a focus on practices that teachers can use to enhance their own wellbeing, as well as how teachers can lead wellbeing practices with their students.)

Option #2- An introduction to wellbeing with PERMAH (a highly engaging combination of research and practice)

About Your Presenter

Head of UPP Ireland, Peter McAuliffe, is an edutrainer who specializes in working with schools, clubs, corporations, and community groups to cultivate growth mindsets, grit, well-being, positive relationships, leadership, emotional intelligence (EQ), and higher performance. Over the past 8 years, Peter has served on and led a dedicated team that has positively impacted more than 300,000 staff, students, and parents across Australia and now in Ireland. UPP delivers exceptional well-being and leadership workshops, empowering individuals to thrive as they learn, live, and lead.

Before joining UPP, Peter gained hands-on experience delivering workshops in schools and community groups across Australia. Additionally, he contributed to the Student Wellbeing Team at Iona College as a Behaviour Management Coach and Wellbeing Coach. Peter plays a crucial role in building new content and helping the team master the art of facilitating. Married to Niamh, they are kept busy by their three beautiful and energetic little boys.
